uuio is a new design brand that creates high-quality children’s furniture and toys. Founded in 2016 by Pia Cohrs, Johann Cohrs and Sebastian Kühne, the company wanted to create timeless furniture and toys to enrich children’s daily lives.
“It all started with the idea of designing a high chair. With a clear, timeless shape, made with high-quality materials and equipped with technical details. But the high chair doesn’t end – SIB has evolved into a children’s furniture concept,” says photographer and co-founder Johann Cohrs.
The Hamburg-based company combines classic and modern design, high-quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship to create timeless furniture that can be passed down for generations. Let’s take a closer look at its product range!
Children’s Bed VII, The Bed of a Lifetime
The VII is a modern bed with a classic look. The length can be adjusted by replacing the long frame parts (90 x 160 / 180 / 200 cm), which you can use as a sofa bed. The natural oak of the frame contrasts with the color of the wooden bedposts and pillars. In addition, the unique slatted frame consists of colored insert parts that can be custom installed into the wooden frame.
SIBs, High Chairs and Furniture Systems
The SIB consists of a high chair (the seat can be adjusted in two different heights), a table and chair, and a rocking chair. All furniture is made of high-quality oak and is available in natural wood and a variety of colours.
TRE, Wooden Toy System
Stack, build and create, this is a classic game for toddlers and kids. With the wooden toy TRE, children from 3 years old can build different types of tree combinations. The act of stacking trees encourages Xi skills and helps focus in a fun way. TRE will be available in different kit combinations.
